Schnirer Beef
Schnirer Farms is located in Westlock County. Maureen and Ken and Ken's Mother Jeannette own and operate a grain and cattle farm.

All cattle are pasture grass grazed in the Spring, Summer and Fall. The Schnirer family grows their own feed. The feed includes: Alphalfa, Timothy, Broam, Kentucky Blue Grass and Fescue hay. In addition to home grown Seebee barley and Canadian Oats which are used to enhance marbling.

The Alberta beef breed raised on the farm is Simmental and Red Angus cross. Both genetics and management play a large role in affecting beef taste.
The cattle breeding program is carefully selected to produce grade A Choice, tasty, tender, juicy, and high-value beef.
